Theophilus London | I Stand Alone (Ocelot Remix)

The clothes don’t make the man; it is the man that makes the clothes.

Coming off the summer album Timez Are Weird These Dayz, I Stand Alone must be doing TL good - not only is it a powerful song, but it seems to have a perfect mix of old vs. new sound, coupled with a fair amount of cool wackiness from London himself (check out the vid for further proof).

I don’t claim to know a whole lot about R&B/Hip-Hop/Rap, so instead of making grand, baseless statements, I’ll just say that I know what I like - and this Ocelot remix of the original track was enough to get me just that much more interested in the Trinidadian (by way of NY).
