Yukon Blonde | Fire
Canadian rockers Yukon Blonde have been around since ‘05 (then under the name Alphababy), gaining more momentum with each release. With their latest EP, Fire/Water, they seem set to make a name for themselves - the first proof is me writing this post on a band who, up until this release, I knew nothing about.
Fire is a feel-good, well-paced mix of harmonies and a steady toe-tapping beat that makes a great case for this 4-song EP and the upcoming full-length set for release sometime in 2011. You can grab the track above and the Fire/Water EP at their website.
