The Dodos | So Cold

Coupled together with Don’t Try And Hide It, the latest single from 2011’s No Color, So Cold is a previously unreleased track from The Dodos that struck me as very New Animal-esque when I first heard it. Maybe that’s just because I’ve been listening to a healthy dose of both bands, but this is a pretty solid track nonetheless. Dodos have always been known for their intricate drum and guitarwork and this track is par for the course. 

No Color is a shoe-in for my year-end list. If you haven’t given it a proper listen, I’d go right ahead - you can also see ‘em on Jimmy Fallon this November 29th if it helps to visualize a band. That certainly helped me appreciate their music all the more.
