As the year is winding down, everyone’s beginning to cobble together their year-end favorite albums/tracks list. While I’ve got a list that I consider to be getting pretty close to my final draft, I know there are a lot of music I haven’t given the proper attention.

Maybe it’s because I want to have a conversation or more of an interaction with all of you guys, but I’d really like to hear what songs/albums have gotten you going this year. Which songs have stuck with you, and what are some of the albums would you consider your favorite of the year?

My plan is to a) listen to as much of the music you guys pass along, possibly adding it to my year-end lists and b) if there’s enough response, to make a post highlighting what you guys appreciated most from 2011.
